Shortly after we moved to the farm, our part-time dog Rex, brought over a half-dozen kittens in his mouth, one at a time. I have rescued, spayed/neutered and found homes for many cats in the past decade. Every fall a new winter shelter would be constructed, becoming ever more elaborate. The last few even "came with" south facing solariums, complete with carpeting.
