I look after little stray cts and kittens all the time and also have to wash them depending on their condition when they arrive here.As a very experienced cat person. please be assure that little peaches very relaxed in her photo if she wasent you would not ger to take a picture.Well done Lady Licious keep up the good work. x x Pawdi Kelly

I can't understand why this would "horrify" anyone. I bathe my cats at least twice a year. It's actually quite good for them to be bathed occasionally. I wouldn't recommend more than an occasional bath two or three times a year, however, unless an unforeseen situation occurs, that is. Btw, I think this photo is adorable.

you can bathe your cats...its not torture! some cats actually like it, i don't know why you people are so horrified about it. The 2 times i found stray kittens whose mother had died, i always washed them...i don't think the bath can harm them more than the blood, engine oil, fleas and dirt they would be covered in. Try not to get water in his eyes and ears though, and use an animal shampoo...shampoos for humans are very bad for cats, very drying.
