I definitely keep an eye on them when they're overhead, but this is the first time one has landed in my yard for a meal.

I would still be afraid of a predatory bird around the kitties ... that's just me being a wuss :)

The falcons and buzzards living here have never been a threat to the cats. Dangerous for a little kitten but not for a full-grown cat I think.

A falcon, I think, outside the picture window. There was a bunch of robins there a few minutes before. I looked out and saw what looked like a giant pigeon, but realized there was a bird under it. It took off with its dinner a few minutes later. I don't THINK it's a threat to the cats. as it took awhile for the bird it had to go still.
