Lily came to us as a foster cat. She and another queen came in with 7 kittens as part of a colony. Unfortunately, they had distemper, and most of the kittens didn't make it. Surprisingly, Lily did. After what we went through with her, we couldn't bear to let her go. She was never all that healthy, and the vet suspected that she had heartworm and complications from heartworm from her time living as a feral. She passed away in fall 2006.
