Named after Pokey Reese, of the 2004 World Champion Red Sox. And boy, is he aptly named, as it turns out... 'poking' is his means of interacting with the world. And at night, when I'm sleeping, I wake up to a poke on the arm, and I have to lift up the covers, so he can get under and cuddle. He won't stop poking until I let him under.
