Oh essiebug, you will know just how I feel right now, because your dear Herman just disappeared: My Joe went out for his post-breakfast walk yesterday and has not returned home. He rarely stays away for more than an hour, and I have spent time since doing all possible to ensure his safe return. Thank you everyone, for your kind comments about my boy. I miss him so. Gill

About this cat
Joe is a very independent cat, having had a poor start in life. He likes to be outside. He carries his tale low most of the time (except at feeding or when he wants a fuss), and I suspect he has 'deep thoughts'!
