PURRRRRR.....
*BUDDY & MARY)
Hi Kathy. So happy to have good news of Salem and that the surgery went fine.Poor baby,as he purrs means that it is very painful.I m sure he gets a lot of attention and kisses.Get well on your paws very soon dear Salem. Thanks for the update.Really kind of you. Many many kisses
The kids and I are very happy to hear that Salem is home, and getting better. As you said, we understand how you must feel. But he'll be up and about in no time! Kisses from Ohio: Ana, Tobi and Baby
By the way the vet still has no idea how it happened. He only goes outside sometimes during the day. He thinks he maybe jumped or fell off our fence out back. It's a mystery. But he's on a diet. No more 15 pound kitty, bad for the hip. :-(
Thank you so much for the sweet thoughts. Only cat lovers can understand. He came home last night and should recover. They removed all the bone fragments and he is supposed to be off his feet for at least 3 weeks. We have him secluded in one of the girls' rooms with fluffy blankets, food and water. He just lays there and purrs a lot. He is hurting, but happy to be home. Thanks again! I'll post a picture when he's better. Kathy
Poor baby Salem. He must be suffering a lot.I will think a lot about him tomorrow.Give us news Kathy about yhe operation and how he feels. If only animals could talk the same language as ours...Kiss kiss kiss from the French connection!
I took Salem to the vet yesterday because he was limping. They couldn't find out what was wrong with him until they did an x-ray. He broke his hip. They have no idea how. He will be having surgery on Sunday, 2-3 to remove bone fragment. I can't believe I did not notice this before. He has just been laying around a little bit more than usual, but nothing else. Pray for Salem. He was very stressed and they were having trouble getting him calmed down when we left him yesterday.
