I know the drill, but it was different this time...I know how to wrangle her into the carrier if I know where she is, but she found a new nook to fit into that seemed to defy the laws of physics so I never even looked there!
Oh Clairette! Daddio, there is a way to do this with the least amount of stress to both of you...provided your carrier can open from the top! In short, leave the carrier in a closet and wait until Claire is napping, preferably not the bedroom (too easy to hide). Go to her quietly and pick her up, after you take the carrier out...from closet IN ANOTHER ROOM! Bring her to the carrier...if no door on top, place carrier up against a couch with open end up. For some of us, this requires planning...it does for me and Pea!
Had to cancel her annual checkup at the Vet's this morning because she went into hiding when she saw her carrier come out. That was 45 minutes ago and I still can't find her! Guess I'm going to have to starve her out! 😡😡😡
