Well, he pooped sponge Saturday night. Sorry for the visual.

The barium study showed the sponge is totally in his large intestine, so it should work itself out. He can't keep food down right now. It's the same exact symptoms as the last two times this happened.

Oh no, Ambercat, what are you doing? This isn‘t food ! 🙀 That would be something when these sponges caused all the problems. But then actually Ambercat wouldn’t be ill, that would be good news, you just have to hide the sponges. Hope the williwaw will soon be a williwaw again and fine ! 😘😻

Well, he's back at the vet again today. Monday, right after he finished his month long treatment for the last episode, I couldn't find one of these anywhere and suspected the worse. He started eating one after recovering from the first episode, so started hiding them after I found one 1/4 eaten. I let up my guard and forgot to hide it this time. Couldn't find anything, so assumed he ate the entire sponge. That night I came home and found a little bit thrown up. The same symptoms came back, vomiting and runny stools.I suspect now that this may have been the cause of the first two incidents.l He had an x-ray this morning and it showed an obstruction in his big intestine, which is good, because when stuff get there it generally goes out. But he's at the vet for a barium study to make sure there's nothing obstructing his small intestine. If there is, he'll need surgery. I have more gray hairs today....
