I was surprised that there were cat baskets back then.

Wonderful to find such treasures. Only a few weeks ago I was looking at 50 years old pics together with my mother and we found something like this, too. I was holding a few days old kitten in my hands when I was about 6 years old.

My sister says the cat's name was Tabby. A color pic shows he/she looked amazingly like Storm, and was very much in love with the family dachshund, Berbily.

I'll have to ask my sister what the cats name is. This was a year before I was born into cat slavedom.

Just found this in an old family album I've been scanning. This is from 1962. Apparently we've been cat slaves for awhile.
