Not they, not the woman who rescued him, but her boyfriend, the trucker, apparently insisted on taking Ambercat with him, and said he "accidentally" kicked him out of the truck and couldn't get him. This cat wouldn't have run away even if he was released from the truck.

I don't understand. are you saying they deliberately left him behind. Now I never said taking a kitten on a truck trip wasn't stupid. I think it was and believed that from the beginning. He's definitely lucky he found his way to you.

He didn't bolt from that truck. Let's just say humans have an incredibly high capacity for sickness. And cats/dogs have an incredible resilience of spirit to the situations they're thrown into. And he's so much like our Daisy, it's beyond uncanny.

LOL, and now we all understand why he bolted from the big rig when he landed in your town Mark, his high energy level.
