How wonderful that Storm now has a name. What is happening with Chloe? How is she doing. I hope you are able to find a home for baby 2. You've already done your duty with all the cats you are keeping. Did the big black cat, possibly the dad, get released yet?
Storm seems to have stolen all their hearts - Floppy included! What a sweet pic. Baby storm is really growing! Sorry to hear about his brother. Sometimes they just can't assimilate to the indoor life. My Harley, while not really wild, will only come in for very short periods of time. But she does always come home at dinnertime and I can almost always find her in a couple of places outside. Baby Two may have to be like that. Still - Tele-Mark you are "crazy generous" with the feral cats in your vicinity.
I understand you are worried about Storm's brother but what to do ? Im sure you know that some cats need longer than other to get used to us but unfortunately some never do. Patience and love and again patience often work. I had only once a cat, Carlo, I could not touch him or pick him up and that never changed but when I released him he came every day to eat......I hope the little boy will not be like that.
He only has one more hurdle to cross. He can't try to dominate or become aggressive with my cats as he grows, and Floppy can't reject him when he becomes an adult. I don't think that will happen though, they all love each other.
His brother is worrying me though. He's hiding most of the time and runs from me or hisses when I approach him, and has stopped eating except a little bit. Storm goes into his hiding place during the day and curls up with him sometimes, but the kitten doesn't play with Storm any longer, and walks around the house at night sadly mewing and looking out the windows.
What about Baby 2 ? Do the boys still ignore him ? Would be so nice for Storm to have a young cat to play with although Robocat still seems to be a kitten at heart.
