Réponse à pmgr111: En Europe aussi, on a des puces électroniques, mais Chiara a été adoptée dans un refuge, à l'époque ce n'était pas obligatoire, mais on peut faire les 2: tatouage et puce, ce que je ferai pour mon prochain chat, c'est plus prudent!

Not sure about what "tat" stood for I guessed and did find out that tatooing is an identification method used for cats and dogs in Europe. Amazing. In the USA we now have microchipping for our animals. Do they have to put the cat under to get its tatoo?
