Oh, oh poor Mikesch and poor Mark ! Vet visits seem to be hell. But I know a bit how it's like. Moritz and Paulinchen freeze at the vet, too but it is no problem to get Paulinchen into the box. Then again Moritz can read my mind when I only think it will be vet time. To catch him usually ended up with blood running down my arms but the last two years it is getting better. But don't believe now that Moritz is a "dangerous" cat . Every other day of th year I can pick him up and carry him around for hours (when he wouldn't be so heavy) He just loves it, purring and kneading my arm.

Yes, easy at the vet, but I have to pay hell if I try it at home! Plus, last trip to the vet started with a destroyed computer keyboard and torn to pieces window shade! And he weighed about 8 pounds then!

Okay, then it is easy to weigh Mikesch at the vet.

He's OK at the vet, because he just freezes up totally when he's there. It's just a drama for me!

Well, how about this ? The next time Mikesch has to see the vet weigh the carrier, box or basket without Mikesch and then weigh it with Mikesch inside , substract and you know how heavy Mikesch is. :)

"Little" Mikesch is probably around 14 lbs now. Wish I could weigh him. Seems they were "supposed" to be regular sized cats until they moved in with the Big Cats, and when they did, they grew to match them.
