Carnie, I was going to see if I could help, but I think Jane (pawdi) knows way more than me....She is a very nice looking cat, she has very sweet eyes :)

She wasn't handled much while she was in the SPCA...too many other cats there waiting for homes...I guess being 6 weeks old and in a shelter didn't help...we love her and her two brothers...she loves to cuddle with them.

Hi Pawdi...she will get up on us if there is food involved as long as she's in control...she's better than she used to be...one time she would hide away more...our main concern is she has a good home now...thanks.

THE ONLY WAY TO GAIN TRUST FOR CUDDLES IS TO CONFINE THE LITTLE ONE TO A SMALL SPACE WHERE YOU ARE IN CONTROL.TRUST ME SHE WILL BE HAPPIER TO ONLY HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A SMALL SPACE AND YOU. START OFF BY RUBBING GENTLY WHILE SHE IS EATING AND SLOWLY WORK UP TO PICKING HER UP AND CARRYING HER AROUND. AS LONG AS SHE HAS FREEDOM TO RUN AWAY FROM YOU.YOU WILL NOT WIN. I suppose you'll have thought anything I could have thought, but here there are a lot of people with a greater knowledge of cats' behaviour.

I don't know how to win her trust...she's loved very much...I got her at the SPCA...we give her treats but she still don't want to be touched...any suggestions?

I don't know why but she just wants to keep to herself...I wish she were cuddley though.
