Stories like this one truly break my heart. Sadly, it's a fact of life that we have psychopaths in this world that will always inflict cruel and inhuman acts upon innocent animals...and humans. God bless this beautiful creature, and surely rewards we can only imagine will be endowed upon Casper when he reaches the Rainbow Bridge. Cruely kicked, nose smashed, both jaws broken and one eye out of its socket...I never thought my beautiful cat would survive! I was nursing mother at the time at home, who was dying of cancer. it was a terrible time. But thanks to the care and skill of a wonderful vet he did. Now 6 years on, asthmatic, blind in one eye, but with the deepest purr you could wish to hear, I fear my Casper may be nearing the end of his life. I felt I wanted to write a tribute to my adorable friend.
