Dear Catmum, Sweet Gabby. Lovely little face. I'm so sorry too. It's never easy...I cry with you because the pain from this hurts the body. My Bubu just went to a warm corner and was hardly seen and then it was time. For a long time I felt like I betrayed him. May you feel comforted at this time by our true love for you and the love of God!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It is hard to let a beloved pet go, but sometimes we have to take the hard decision so that they do not suffer unnecessarily. We once had a kitty named Charlie, he was 17 years old and his kidneys also failed. It was so hard, but I'm sure he is in kitty heaven right now, together with Gabby and all the other loved pets. I'm sure Gabby was much loved and will always be remembered with love!

Not the best picture of our love, but yesterday we had to let her go. We thought she was going to be okay, but she took a turn for the worse. Her kidneys failed, she wouldn't eat and our vet said we could maybe give her a couple of days more. We had to let her go. My Mum is so sad. She had her for 16 years, but we cat lovers know it's never enough time. We love you Gabby. xoxo
