Definitely still feral, just harder to see. I still can't pick him up without surprising him, which is hard, and then he kicks and squirms, but doesn't panic any more.

Well, you can‘t call Mikesch feral anymore I think, he is so sweet. 😻❤️😻

All of them have used the carrier as a safe spot, but this is the first time for Mikesch.

Where I last lived I kept a carrier assembled under the dining room table. One of my cats used to sleep in the carrier regularly. I believed at the time that it was her escape place from the other cat in the house.

I found him like this, just chilling in the cat carrier. I walked right up to him, reached in and petted him. No panic, didn't come flying out, just sat there like a real tame cat.
