Storm just blew the kid out of the water -- twice up the route, with a single jump to 2/3's height, and not even thinking about the crux move at the top, which is quite difficult, which he instinctively nailed. After the second time, though, he was pretty spent. As a retired rock/ice climber, I was pretty impressed. And I remember, one of the things we were taught to emulate was a cat on a tree, so things come full circle! Ambercat's form in particular above is really top notch. He could be at 5000m in the Alps, or 200 Feet in the Shawangunks. OK, a little silly, but seriously, this is a great move here! Berg Heil, kits!
It's the old ramp from the ceiling perch from my old house. He was in the basement, trying to climb up the smooth side, when it was leaning against the wall. I turned it around to the rug side and he went nuts. I put it up on the wall and he's been perfecting this move, getting to the top and then getting on the shelf behind him. He's almost got it mastered!
