Watching the resident chipmunk about 100 feet away. I was wondering what he was focusing on, and it took my old eyes about 10 minutes to find it. I pay close attention to my cat's reactions to the outdoors, and when his ears twitched, I was thinking BIG approaching predator in the woods, possibly HUMAN!! Until I realized he was focusing alot closer than I thought , and then I saw the almost invisible chipmunk. Another reason I want to backhand those who say cats are useless. I depend TOTALLY on my cats for situational awareness of what's going on in the 7 miles of woods 20 feet from my back door, quietly. A dog would give away the fact that I know something's there....
