No, Clyde is 6 years old, Chloe is 13. They adopted Clyde after they lost another cat and thought Chloe needed company. But it turned out Clyde pestered Chloe and she kept trying to keep to herself.
Still hope that we will hear from Clyde's new family. Could it be that Chloe and Clyde are sister and brother ? To me they look like one family, especially the exprssion of their faces and red boys often have calico sisters. Well, if that should be true than I would like to stay in touch at least with the owner of my cats sister if Picato should not be so interesting.......But we dont know maybe the shelter didnt inform the people that have adopted Chlyde.
I did email the shelter last night asking them to pass my Picato page along to the new family, and to let them know Clyde has a big fan club on here. I'll update here if I get a response from them.
How wonderful for Clyde! My heart was breaking for him just as so many of you here. Maybe you can let the shelter know that all of Clyde's Picato friends would love to see him again and they could pass that on to his new family. Congratulations Clyde! May you have many, many happy days and years to come.
I'm so happy that Clyde got a new home! I had been thinking about him all these days since you posted his first (sad) pic, so the news of his adoption made me smile! Have a nice life with your new family, Clyde!
Yes that would be great to hear from Clyde already living in his new home, maybe you guys in the states can manage that. :)
No matter what maybe you can leave me a note by mail when things for Clyde change ? tina@doerscheln.de That would be very kind otherwise I will find out here
Greetings from the cats Willi, Moritz and Paulinchen and their can-opener Martina
I'm keeping an eye on him. he's only been there a little over a week now, so hopefully he'll find a home soon. It would be great if a Picato poster got him, so we'd see him on here from then on out!
Clyde is such a gorgeous cat , orange and green eyes, just beautiful I think, Guess here in Germany he would find a home right away. I keep my fingers crossed that things will go well for him. I Must admit he really has touched my heart and I wont forget him........
The shelter answered my email, and posted a better picture of Clyde. They say he's pretty stressed there but doing better. He looks like a great cat. If anyone on Massachusetts is looking for a cat, he can be seen at Sterling Animal Shelter -- http://www.sterlingshelter.org/pet-finder
