I'm very conscious of kitties and doggies around bags and plastic and blind cords ... So glad the only casualty of Callie's adventure was her exuberance - - tee hee! Luv u Callie - you are simply gorgeous dahling!!!
I save plastic grocery bags for the litter box scooping. Way early on, Floppy "got into one", and the handle got around a rear leg. I was watching him when he took a step, the bag crinkled, and hye took off like something horrible was chasing him, and I thought he was going to break a leg the way he was bouncing off stuff. From that moment on, the first thing I do with a plastic bag is snip the handles.
This happened while I was out. Fortunately Callie was fine but the bottles for recycle that were in the bag were strewn into many rooms around the house. I had put an empty cleaned out and washed cat food can in the bag for recycle but apparently she could still smell the cat food can and got into the bag. Needless to say the recycle no longer goes in a bag with a handle.
