Lewis dear one - - c'mon honey - - be strong and get well for your "momma" and your other little pals waiting at home for you to return ... More prayers, thoughts and hugs to all in "Mackemcat" land ...
Hello everyone. I have just had phone call from vets. Lewis's temperature is now 103F so it has come down from yesterday and they have said he must stay in. Lewis is still very poorly but has managed a little bit of food and has had a drink. He has not used his tray so they are a bit concerned about that. I will keep you all posted with any news.....Greta x
Oh Greta - - I hope they are able to diagnose what the issue is and get him ont he road to recovery very, very soon ... believe me - I know what you are going through. Rest assured you have my thoughts, prayers and hugs during this time. I so love that Lewis K ... and you and all the other Mackemcats! xxoo
Thank you so much everyone for your kind thoughts. It is just after 9.30pm Sunday 19th and I have just phoned vets surgery. Lewis has had another blood test and most things are OK but nurse says that one of the results is raised?? He is comfortable and not shaking but hasn't eaten anything. I feel so helpless.....It's a nightmare!!!!
This is just before I put Lewis in the cat basket to take him to the vets and he didn't even realise I took the photo, that's how ill he is. I had a few minutes before setting off as the vet had to be called from home and it took her half a hour to get in .....I am so frightened for Lewis...
Lewis is really ill again. He started to shiver and tremble and is so listless. I rang the vets and they said to bring him in straight away as an emergency so he is there now. The vet is putting him on different antibiotics and he may need to be on a drip if he won't eat or drink. His temperature is 104.9F. I am out of my mind with worry after what happened to my beautiful Thomas......
