No, didn(t change his diet. Since he is with me (6 years) Haïku eats only the same urinary care food. No exception. This special diet as he already had urinary problems when he was young, in his first year.

Have you changed his diet? They can sometimes react badly to that. Floppy went to the emergency vet with all the signs of a blockage years ago. They didn't find anything, but it cleared up when I realized I'd changed their food and this happened, and then changed back to the old food. Also, Robocat once had a VERY bad kidney infection with symptoms like that. Did they put him on antibiotics?

Some two weeks ago I had to take Haïku to the vet then to the clinic for a couple of days. Blocked bladder, no stones but cristals in urine. Haïku was under medication and was going better and better. This morning he tried to pee several times with no results. Then there was blood. Some drops, but blood.
