Bruno had to go back to the vet's today, Tuesday 16th as he still has a temperature above normal. The vet has given him a long lasting antibiotic. Poor little boy.........at least he is brighter and more alert than before......
I didn't see Picato this weekend, so I did not know anything about Bruno.Thank God the news are good!! Bruno, sweetie, take care and be well, we are all waiting for your next funny adventure!
Thank you so much everyone!!! I have been so worried after what happened to Thomas and the mis-diagnosis. Bruno is still unwell but he has had some food and nice cool water to drink. His eyes look brighter too. I cannot understand how he took ill so quickly and what caused it. I am just keeping him quiet at the moment and letting him rest.....xxxxx
Whew ... prayers have come true - little Bruno on the mend! Absolutely he is much better off at home with you and the other kitkats Greta!!!!! So happy for you and the "family"!!! XOXOXO
I am about to leave for work and am so happy to see that Bruno is back home with you!! He'll get the best care at his own home with his kitty friends and lots of love from YOU! Give him hugs and kisses and treats for me!!!
GREAT NEWS!!!! Bruno is home!!! He is a bit unsteady on his legs and weak but his temperature is now normal. The vet says that it is a viral infection but he is better being at home than there. He was quite scared at the vet's and wouldn't eat. However, he has had something to eat now and is drinking too. I am so relieved and much happier...Thank you all for your kindness......Greta & Bruno......xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Came to check on Bruno before I went to bed (it is 12:30am here) ...been thinking of you and Bruno all night. I am hoping for some good news about your little rambunctious guy that we've all grown to love. You're in my thoughts... <3
Thank you so much Marilyn & Stacey. You are both such wonderful friends. I cannot understand why Bruno is ill. He is so big,(6.9 Kg in weight) and strong too and this illness has come on so quickly. He is a house cat, afraid of going out so if he has a virus, I'm baffled as to how he has caught it. It has been too cold for the other cats to want to go out either.....I'm totally baffled.......
Greta...I am so sorry to hear that Bruno is ill. You will be in my thoughts and prayers until he is better and back home with you!! Keep your head up and think good thoughts, Bruno is in good hands and will be back to you soon!! We love you!
Oh Greta - I just read this ... Oh you poor dear! Little Bruno ... oh me ... sounds like he is in good hands my dear. Prayers, hugs and thoughts and more prayers, hugs for you and sweet, sweet Bruno! Please keep us posted as best you can - - cuddle up with your other babies dear friend ... Love you
It is just before 9pm, Friday 12th and I have just phoned the vet's surgery. The night nurse says Bruno is quite comfortable and relaxed. I hope the injections that the vet gave him will lower his temperature. I wish he was home......I'm missing him.......
Bruno started to be a listless and not his usual self yesterday. He was still eating and drinking and didn't really look ill, more tired, so I decided to keep an eye on him and thought he would be better after a good night's sleep. Today, he was worse so he is now at the vet's. He had a fever, a high temperature 106 degrees F. The vet thinks it's a viral infection. I am so worried after what happened to my beautiful Thomas....I just cannot think straight.....
