Thank you so much everyone!! It's BRILLIANT that he is back at home!!!!! I never realised how much I would miss hearing his sweet little voice. I love him so much!!!! He talks and sings all the time. While he was ill he was so quiet and when he was at the vets I hardly slept with worry. I'm so glad and relieved that he is recovering so well......xxxxxxx

Lewis is home and SINGING!!! Yes, yes, I'm singing too, from pure joy and happiness!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!! I am so glad Lewis is back, just to hear his voice and see his sweet little face is priceless. It has all been down to a virus which attacked his eye too and caused the high temperature. I'm 100% certain he caught it from Bruno but where Bruno got it from is a mystery as he is a house cat. Charlene is very quiet at the moment so I hope she hasn't caught it too.....

What's wrong with him Greta? Is it from his infected eye? Awwwww, sweet Lewis. I'm so glad he is "singing." Welcome home baby. Let's hope and pray that you stay at home. Get well soon little fella. Hugs to you.

So glad to hear that Lewis is on the mend. I hope he continues to do well. I agree with your vet...they usually do better at home, they are in their normal surroundings and more comfortable! He's such a sweet cat and I hate seeing any cat unwell...I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers until he is as good as new! xoxo

Oh Greta, my laptop is down right now and I only learned about Lewis' plight until right now .... thank goodness he is home, and our love to you and him, and we're praying for a very quick and complete recovery!!

Oh Greta I am so glad to hear Lewis is home and on the road to recovery.I don't get on here as much as I used to and I didn't know until today what had happened. Great news!!!! Lewis is home. The vet says he is better off here and will recover quicker. If he deteriorates or if his temperature rises he must go back but he is eating, drinking has been singing tonight with joy. He is on medication for a week,(Baytril antibacterial tablets).
