The first pics of Tango without Bella are up on the Facebook site. He looks very forlorn. Hopefully he'll perk up after he gets his new friend at the end of the month.

Thanks a lot for keeping us NON-FBs informed "Claire"! We all know how sad it is when we lose one of our fur kids. I read in Bella's profile that she was 2 years old only .....

This is the latest news from Bella's family...We contacted Bella's breeder here in FL to tell him what happened. He was as shocked as we are about it. He has never seen this happen before. He has a 3 week old female kitten just like Bella he is keeping for us. We will be able to get her just before we leave for home at the end of April. In about 2 weeks we will take a drive to see her. I'll keep you posted. (BTW....all of your kind expressions are so touching, I still cry when I read them.)

Patricia - Tango and Bella's momma is a member of the Facebook group picato.net - you can request to be added to this group. This is how I found out about Bella even though most of us are not Facebook "friends" with Patricia.

This is heartbreaking news....Bella and Tango would bring a smile to my face no matter what...they were just so beautiful together. My heart goes out to her people and Tango. I feel like crying.

I find it's good to keep up with both this site, and the FB site. I find this site is more about the cats, and the FB site is more about the people.

It is obvious that many picato people are also on FB and that some never came back. It is a bit sad I especially miss the pics of Clementine and her brothers and sister but found them on this FB page now, too not only the sad news about Bella. I read about Bella this passed weekend, but did not know she went to Rainbow Bridge. This is too sad, poor Tango, he was so attached to her...

This is what happened...this is SO sad. "Picato.net friends......I have very sad news to report about our dear sweet Bella. Took her to the Emergency Hospital this AM. She was diagnosed with an enlarged heart and fluid in her lungs. The prognosis is poor. We are just heartbroken. We brought her back to the hotel with us. She is not in pain, but very lethargic and her breathing is labored. Please pray for her. Her time with us will be limited. We are not at our destination yet. Won't be until Monday."

Yes it's true about Bella but I don't know why either and since I don't have a facebook account I can't find out. I'm so sad. She and Tango were so great together. I see several other familiar cats there. I wonder if that's why we aren't seeing everyone on picato.net these days.

I don't have a facebook account. I can't believe Bella passed. Claire do you know what was wrong with her. I'm so sad about this. She and Tango were great together.

I have no idea. Try facebook picato.net fans in google search then you should find the same I found. I am not on Fb so that is all I could find. A side with pics and comments.

I'm hoping nothings happened to Bella. The last we saw her owners were heading to FL for sunshine and good weather. I went back on the Tango Bella pics and that's the last one they posted. I didn't see any bad news on their pics but I did see on one of their pics Claire wishing Bella to get well soon. What do you know Claire that we don't?

I almost dread logging onto Picato these days. Alas, it's the bad we sign up for and agree to when we let these precious little souls into our hearts....
