So good to hear everything went well, surgery on our cats is very bad on us! What did they say it was?

I am glad, too that everything went okay. Get well soon Haiku !

I'm glad to hear the operation went well. I hope he recovers quickly, and returns to being healthy.

Prayers for you and Haiku.

No, didn(t change his diet. Since he is with me (6 years) Haïku eats only the same urinary care food. No exception. This special diet as he already had urinary problems when he was young, in his first year.

The operation went OK. He is waking up.

Have you changed his diet? They can sometimes react badly to that. Floppy went to the emergency vet with all the signs of a blockage years ago. They didn't find anything, but it cleared up when I realized I'd changed their food and this happened, and then changed back to the old food. Also, Robocat once had a VERY bad kidney infection with symptoms like that. Did they put him on antibiotics?

My mother in laws dog had this - kept bleeding in the urine. It had crystals and had to go on a special tinned food diet. Pleased to report this stopped the crystals and it eventually died of old age. Thinking of you both. Jane for Amy and Simba

Poor Haiku and poor you of course, too. I hope that everything will go well for your boy. Could be everything, a bladderstone in combination with a bladder infection maybe, the vets can help there very well. But of course there is the surgery and the anesthesia and the trembling uncertainty and I know how you feel. I will keep you in my thoughts . Please let us know when you have talkd to the vet.

Some two weeks ago I had to take Haïku to the vet then to the clinic for a couple of days. Blocked bladder, no stones but cristals in urine. Haïku was under medication and was going better and better. This morning he tried to pee several times with no results. Then there was blood. Some drops, but blood. I rushed him back to the clinic, where he'll undergo an operation this morning. I'm scared
