You probably already know this but use his name every time you pet him or talk to him. He will understand you mean just him.

Well now that he has a name, he knows he's staying. After all, would you want to be called Man #1? lol His nose looks so much better.

He truly did start to tame the moment he heard his name. If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't believe it.
